Back Squat Accommodating Resistance (band resisted) with 140 kg Jelle van Gorkom
This video shows Jelle van Gorkom professional BMX rider, silver medallist at the Rio Olympics 2016, Olympian 2012 and runner-up at the BMX World Championships 2015 performing a Back Squat with band resistance with 140 kg.
The Back Squat or squatting movements, in general, have an ascending strength curve, which means the exercise get lighter towards the end of the movement. The added band resistance provides more resistance over the whole range of the Back Squat movement.
